A Guide for Users of Macromolecular Models (Complementary Science) (Taschenbuch) This well-illustrated book is a good choice to start with if you are interested in structural biology. I would recommend it especially for beginners since it covers almost all relevant aspects and therefore presents a good general overview. In contrast to many other books in the field it does not put too much emphasis on mathematical equations but explains these using many illustrations such that the basics become clear even to those that do not have a strong mathematical background.
